On June 24th, Professor Wang Weihua, the chief expert of WEGO Reproduction and internationally renowned human embryologist, and Professor Wang Tao and his wife were invited to participate in the “7th Peninsula International Women and Children's Medical Forum” and the 13th Academic Conference of the Reproductive Medicine Branch of Qingdao Medical Association, and brought WEGO Reproductive Products to assist in their “Egg Freezing Practical Training Class”.

The training was successfully completed at the Qingdao International Convention Center, with over 40 IVF practitioners from medical institutions both inside and outside the province attending the feast. Professor Hao Cuifang, Director of the Reproductive Medicine Center at Qingdao Women and Children's Hospital, delivered the opening speech. Professors Wang Weihua and Wang Tao were invited to serve as keynote speakers, while Liu Ji, Director of the Reproductive Health Laboratory at Weihai Maternal and Child Health Care, was invited to accompany and provide teaching guidance together with the teachers at the Reproductive Medicine Center of Qingdao Women and Children's Hospital during the practical stage.

During the theoretical training, Professor Wang Weihua gave an excellent academic lecture on the topic of “Egg Freezing and Thawing”. By watching a video of using WEGO culture medium, he explained the steps and requirements of product use, and emphasized the key points in technical operation based on his own experience. The in-depth and easy to understand explanation ignited the learning atmosphere on site. During the free discussion session, Professor Wang answered questions for more than four hours on site, and the students actively asked questions and sought knowledge, fully achieving in-depth communication with the teaching experts.

During the group practice process, Professor Wang Tao tirelessly demonstrated and explained the operation methods of egg freezing and thawing, and together with the teaching assistants, guided the students in the operation. This “one-on-one” and “less but more refined” training mode not only guides practice with theory, but also verifies theory through practice. It can fully practice, deeply communicate, and receive immediate guidance from teachers, enabling timely feedback and solutions to problems discovered during operation. While mobilizing students' learning enthusiasm, it greatly improves their professional competence and skill level.

The practical training class ended successfully amidst everyone's reluctant and lingering farewell. On June 25th, Professor Wang Weihua gave a special lecture on “Egg Cryopreservation and Its Safety” at the Peninsula International Women's and Children's Medicine Forum Reproductive Medicine Sub Forum and the 13th Academic Conference of the Reproductive Medicine Branch of Qingdao Medical Association. The lecture delved into the application of egg freezing technology from the perspectives of its history, objects, methods, success rate, and risks. The content covered key points of freezing protection techniques, freezing time, and whether egg freezing would cause abnormalities in embryos or fetuses, as well as cutting-edge research.

At the meeting, big names gathered, and renowned professors, scholars, and reproductive medicine experts from home and abroad, such as Academician Chen Zijiang, Cao Yunxia, Li Rong, Zhang Songying, Hao Cuifang, and Xu Yangying, gave fascinating lectures on hot topics and cutting-edge research related to China's fertility status and fertility preservation, single-cell research on the endometrium and endometrial receptivity, endometrial protection and repair, endocrine abnormalities and recurrent miscarriage, the application of uterine contraction inhibitors in assisted reproductive technology, and fertility protection strategies for minimally invasive reproductive surgery. The lectures attracted 236 colleagues from the reproductive industry both inside and outside the province. As the only equipment exhibition booth outside the venue, WEGO Reproductive's products have also received widespread attention.
